Reflection for the slam poem
Writing this poem was easier than writing other types of poems because, slam poem is free. You write whatever you think about the topic. Also, slam poems don't require specific figurative language or certain formats of poems, such as rhyme, so it was easier to write it.
Slam Poem
I hate you. With all my heart, I truly do.
You have no idea how much I hate you.
You have no idea how much the school hates you.
You have no idea how much the world hates you.
Perhaps, it’s a better world without you.
Teachers use you day after day, to enjoy the pain we gain everyday.
You’re useless, you’re time consuming, you are meaningless
We have other work other than homework, but why homework if we have schoolwork?
I hate you with all my heart, I truly do,
No homework? Follows detension, More detension? Follows suspention.
Physical science, computer science Biology geometry Fitness for life, Christ Life
Ms. Lillo, please no homework, we have schoolwork!
